The listing, Shroud of Turin Coin: Collectible and Unique! has ended.
A friend visited the Shroud of Turin during the 1998 Exibition and picked up this coin.
On the front is a picture of Jesus as the Shroud of Turin would depict him with wording around the front edges of the coin.(I can't for the life of me read those words, sorry!)
On the back of the coin the words I can pick out are Sancta Sindon qua Corpus Domini Nostri Jesu Christi involutum (something). Sorry, even with my glasses I'm not sure I got all the wording and spelling correct.
I have never seen another like it. It's been in my safe all these years in a cover. It looks like a very old coin, but don't think it actually IS old, if you know what I mean. I'm by no means an expert on coins, though.
Happy Bidding!
