Description

The listing, Empress Tree SEEDS 10 of them! has ended.

This auction is for 10 seeds. I grew up with these in California and they were glorious. These pictures are stock pictures taken from the internet to give you an idea of the beauty of the shape and color of the trees. They say these are the fastest growing trees. They are beautiful! AND you never have to buy seeds again! Once grown all you have to do is harvest the seeds for the next year or to share like I am.

I do want to say that I have had a bit of problem with some of my seeds going awry and I do not pay extra for tracking. If you want tracking, you are welcome to pay extra for it. However, I am happy to resend when things do not reach you within a reasonable amount of time and you let me know. I have had the same problems with things not getting to me at times and people have provided me with the same service.

Hello! You mentioned that they were in California... Are they hardy enough to withstand cruel cold winters?

I don't really know. You can google it and find out all sorts of things about them. I know that things that are grown in semi-tropical zones are grown here in Idaho but I haven't necessarily grown them here myself. I like to try all sorts of them myself. Usually I will plant my seeds that I am unsure of in a gallon pot here in the house and take it in and out of the house when needed to ensure that it gets big enough to have a chance to make it through the winter. I have seen bird of paradise up here and they are tropical plants and other such do well up here. So I can't say for sure but if you want one, I would try it. It's not costing an arm and a leg here on Listia and it just might do fine. It makes it more satisfying when I get something to grow here when it's not supposed to. :)
