These are great walkie talkies work great. You can run the rechargable or the double A batteries. I use the double A batteries because they stay up longer then the other. The brand is uniden. I am going to ship for free plus a buy it now button. You will have to buy your own double a batteries because the shipping will be cheaper but i will send the rechargable batteries. I don't have the manual but im sure you can find it over the internet they have 22 channels plus they receave great not sure what the distance are but they did great for me. Happy bidding
