The listing, composition doll 1920s has ended.

This is a composition doll , she is not in perfect condition she has to be restored she is beautiful and has a cry box inside of her , the back of her head is broken and fingers toes and limbs need to be fixed but i know that someone out there can fix her , i took her to an antique expert in marine city and he said she can deffinatly be fixed and will have a long life ahead of her , when i look at her i feal like going back almost 100 years to a child that loved her and was then passed on . please bid on her to love her and fix her she is a jem !

Hello, i'm sure you will have good luck with your doll, i have been listing composition dolls on here too, I'm in love with them...got a little carried away and got too many! LOL...i do not know how to restore them, but, there are many people who do! I will watch her, and i fanned yah! :) Thanks for listing her, and saving her!!!

thank you i used to collect dolls but then i had 4 boys and it kinda hard to collect anything she is one of my favorite dolls but she has to be restored and i dont have the time or know how to do it . i hope that who ever wins her will send me a picture of her restored : ) fanned back and thank you again

can you post pics of the back of her head as well as her other problems so that we can get a better idea of the exact restoration needed. she is definitely worth the time and effort but would like to get a better feel of what I would be looking at to restore her.

to help all a little better if you copy the picture to your computer and zoom in on her fingers and face it will giive you a little more info on to how old she is and what type of restoration she needs : )

yes and no she is a one piece doll with composition head hands and legs but her body is cloth , part of her leg to her foot came off but i still have the piece tucked away inside of her nighty , her little fingers tiny parts and pieces have came off . when i purchaced her she was in this shape if i would have left her there she would probably be in a landfill but when i talked to the antique store they said that a lot of people know how to fix her and she would make a very doll once restored : )
