FREE: Vintage Damascene Spanish Boat

The listing, Vintage Damascene Spanish Boat has ended.

This was the best place to post this since it's 50-60 years old! I remember my Mother wearing this well since I can remember and I'm very close to being 60 and I know that my Father bought this for my Mother many, many years ago. When? I can't remember the exact year but it had to have been sometime in the late 1950's or early 1960's. The only mark is Spain located on the back of the boat. When I looked it up this is the description that was written; " Damascene Spanish boat with couple of females under a parasol. Boat is green with gold scrolling and white edging, sail is red with gold scrolling with a swan on the seal. The Spanish flag is flying on the mast." The brooch has never been repaired and the clasp is in perfect working order.

My Mother took very good care of it and when it was given to me, I took over taking care of it. I never wear it and it sits in a safe unappreciated and it's time to go to another home where it will be appreciated, taken care of and loved. It needs a new home!
