The listing, wheat penny grab bag! one from every decade they were made!!!! has ended.

this is a lot auction where you will get a wheat penny from every decade they were made. starting in the 10's up to the 50;s. so it will 5 wheaties in all. i will NOT cherry pick them. i have them in bags based on date. i will simply pull out one from each bag. i must start the credits at at least 50 to cover my shipping costs. if you think thats to high to start, let me know. maybe ill change it to more pennies. any questions, and each one will be in at LEAST GOOD condition. but you have my GUARANTEE THAT the dates will not be searched. I have over 200 pounds of wheat pennies and still havent gone through them all, so you never know what youll get. shipping will be free, but i must start the bidding at 65 credits to cover shipping costs. if thats too high, let me know, ill see what i can do. look at my feedback, my buyers are always happy with what they get and i hope the winner here will be too.

You should break your pennies down into categories based on mint as well as year. You can probably get a lot more for certain mints. Just a suggestion. :)

i have a bag of unsearched wheat pennies. im pulling them out of that. so i dont even know what mints they could have. my auctions are always fair, i give the option of having the drawing live on ichat if the winner prefers.

1900 to 1909 is/was a decade during which they were made :P

No, you're wrong in your assement. They were not made from 1900-1909, they started in 1909, thus removing the "decade" entitlement because only one year was manufactured and would then give away what year coin could be won from that decade. Had they manufactured it for more than one year in a decade, thus the entitlement would apply to such coins because that would create the possibility of "chance" by having two coins to choose from, thus removing the knowledge of the exact coin available from said decade. Since it's a "random" choosing from every decade, adding the decade of 1900-1909 would conflict with the idea of a "chance grab bag" auction.

I hope that cleared the issue up. Trust me, it's nearly impossible to win an argument with me. I'm stubborn like that.

I completely understand the auction. Especially if there is no penny from the 50s, as they didn't make wheaties for the entirety of of the decade of the 1950s.

I was made in 1976, during the decade of the 70s.

Abe was first minted in 09, during the decade of the 00s.

No argument, just having fun. This is a good listing :)

Ps, mint marks don't count as different coins, they just signify where said coin was made. And there is no mention of a coin from every mint mark in the auction description, so it can only be guaranteed to be a "fair chance auction" by year, thus removing the 1909 coin from being able to provide more than one option all together.

(notice how well I use the word "thus") pretty clever ehy?
