The Lions have never really achieved elite status during Stafford's tenure, but it's hard to fault Stafford. He has averaged ---AVERAGED! --- 4635 yards passing per season, and has twice surpassed 400 completions during those 5 seasons and finished within 2 (398) in 2015. The Lions inconsistencies have hampered his passer rating, but make no mistake, Stafford is an elite quarterback. It wouldn't hurt to have a couple of his rookie cards laying around ... you know, just in case.
