Description

The listing, @^--v--- GRATEFUL DEAD 8X10 B&W PRINT---^--v@ has ended.

With a cool frame, this would make a great holiday gift!

Grateful Dead, black and white glossy print.

In perfect condition, was kept for a long time in a frame away from sunlight, so there is no fading of the ink in the photo.

All members of the band are included and my guess is the photo is a print taken around the time period between 1975 to 1982, or maybe earlier. If anyone knows for sure let me know, I would appreciate some incite.

At the bottom of the print is the Name and the Warner Brothers Records logo in the bottom right hand corner.

Hope this finds a home with a fellow head or anyone with the appreciation for legendary music.

Will ship within 24 hours of the end of listing, if address is received promptly, to ensure delivery before the holidays.

Happy Bidding, and Good Luck!

This picture has Pigpen, Jerry, Phil, Billy and Bobby and was taken in 1971 between February and August as Mickey Hart left the band for a while in February, and Pigpen was hospitalized and left the band in August. It looks like it was taken during the Workingman Dead album period. That's also while they were on the WB label. That should help ya! IKO

@TnT thanks for all the info. My girlfriend is the one who posted this and is sad to part with it because she is an avid fan as well, but our space is limited and her collection is not. So we may be posting more dead stuff in the future.

You're quite welcome.... you have no idea... 30+ years of Dead/JGB/Furthur shows, I've gone as far as hitch-hiking 2 days from Jersey to Florida for a show, skull & roses tattoo on my arm, own SkullAndRoses.com, worked for one of Bill Graham's companies as a t-shirt artist, I have a few original vault copies of early 70's Dead shows on R2R, used to hang out backstage, Brent used to come in my store in Berkeley, knew Ken Kesey, knew and printed t-shirts for the guy who built Jerry's guitars (Doug Irwin), know Wavy Gravy, etc., etc., etc... yea, you could say that I like them a little bit... ;)

LOL thats funny, yeah our kids are named Cassidy and August. So my girlfriend is a little bit of a fanatic as well.

Don't call her a 'fanatic' or she won't be your girlfriend for long.... LOL... it's not a 'fan' thing, it's a lifestyle and music like no other.

Ironically, I'm a single dad and Cassidy was choice #2 for my daughter... she's meant to be a Jasmine though (everyone calls her Jazzy). She's 12 years old and has seen The Dead once, Grisman twice, Mickey, Ratdog, DSO and 7 Furthurs (including 2 in California). She's also seen a lot of other concerts and has been on stage with Michael Franti SEVEN times so far including playing his guitar once and singing with him 4 times, including a duet on her birthday last year. She's also a big Elvis head and owns a piece of his scarf from his last concert, a certified strand of his hair and went to Graceland last year (but she's in a pop phase all of the sudden... eww)

LOL, It's okay that he called me a fanatic, I can come across that way when it comes to that lifestyle. That is so cool about your daughter. I am also a hugh Franti Fan as well, It's a way of life that I have cherished and will always. I am still very young but it's nice to know there are still some of us out there. We seem to have diminished. I hop you have a great holiday. And I understand the whole pop thing, my 9year old Cassidy is heading in that direction too. ewww lol
