As Listia credits continue to devalue, I must adjust prices to keep up or I may as well just be giving cards away! Gift cards are being sold easily for between 25,000 - 35,000 PER $1!!! And don't forget the Listia fees. In case you're unaware, the inflation has hit again, and it is hard to fall behind on but look people, I've added a screenshot that was taken July 30, 2016 to give you an example of the ever-increasing exchange rate!!! I don't care what anyone says; $5.00 is $5.00 when it is equally obtainable for all of us. Rarely will you find a $5.00 gift card on here for any less than 130,000. Unless you're lucky and catch one from someone that isn't routinely trying to drive the inflation rates up. So basically, if I have something listed for under 25,000 then I'm basically only making about $0.50 at the very most after postage cost and Listia fees. So please consider that and understand before assuming my GINs are too high!!!
So for higher than average value MINT cards such as a Mega Charizard, I'm basing my GINs on 24,000 - 33,000 per dollar.Depending on the condition and if I have have extras then I'll list them for anywhere between 15,000 - 25,000.
For example:
If I'm listing the only copy of a MINT card that's typically worth $5, then I'll set GIN at between 100,000 - 130,000.
For a $5 card that I have multiples of or are in NEAR MINT condition then I'd set the GIN at about 75-100k, but usually lower depending on the condition and rarity.
I buy about as much as I sell, so if I don't keep that aligned at least to some extent, well then I might as well just throw money away.
