thanks, i had another iron butterfly cd up for auction with the 17:05 minute version of inna-gadda-da-vida on it but that was a few weeks ago.

go for it, just to let you know that the song on this cd inna-gadda-da-vida is not the 17 minute song, its the 2:53 version.

I think the other Iron Butterfly album you mentioned may be the one Chad got me. It has "Ana Godda Divida Baby" and a few long versions of that song plus a couple others.

they both have in-a-gadda-da-vida on it, this one has the short version at 2 minutes 53 seconds, the long version is just over 17 minutes long.
