Handmade and glazed paper beads. These are made from recycled magazines!! These are NOT waterproof, but ARE water resistant.

These are gorgeous! They don't look like they are made of paper at all. Fanning to watch for future auctions from you with fingers crossed for some pink beads in the future.

I also recommend you list your beads by color instead of mixed colors. Most people are looking for beads of a specific color. So, even if you are offering LOTS of beads, if the buyer thinks only a few of them will be the color(s) they really want, the bidding will be limited by that.

Also, jewelry made with mostly one color (or similar colors) tends to be more practical to match with clothes, so I always sell my beads by color lot. I mostly have silver findings on Listia right now, but when I get mixed batches I sort them into colors and to photograph and list.

I think these are great beads, but I recommend you make one or two pieces of jewelry (or just string them) and provide photos of how they look. If you check my listings for beads (just search natahoa and specify Arts & Crafts category) you'll see that I include photos of jewelry I've made with all of my listings. This really, really helps sell the beads ... people can see exactly how they look when used and it gives them great creative ideas for using your beads.

I've been selling beads on Listia for about a year and a half. What I do is take a bunch of photos and then reuse the photos over and over. So, for example, even if your next listing is for similar beads of a different color, you can still show the jewelry you've made to help bidders visualize how they will use the beads.

Some I paint, some are plane pages and some are colored pages...each bead is unique, so when I find even just 1 piece of paper/magazine with an awesome color on it I snag it and use it = )

I actually have really large beads and disc beads I have made. I wanted to see if anyone was interested in paper beads at all to see if it was worth the time to post lol Listia has been so AWESOME!
