does the s seem to been of the same timing as the coin and is an exact s or is i a little boxy or smooth ( there was a time when people would fake the s, or d or p ) not that i think you did that by any means this usually happened years ago.
not really sure. it does look like it's aged a bit so my assumption is that it's been there. it is located on the back of the dime at the bottom. as i said before i am not by any means a collector or do i know much about it. i aquired it as a cash register clerk. lady wanted a beer and that dime was with the rest of the change she handed me
