Questions & Comments
Can the chain on this be changed? An 18" is really too short for me, fits, but is uncomfortable.. Really pretty necklace!!
No and these are diamond chips that are spaced out from silver made to look like diamonds all the way around. Appraisals here cost 50.00 on up and it being silver, I will not appraise silver. The place I go to is called goldmans, what they do for me is look at my pieces tell me the k of the gold, if it is not marked they will mark it for me, they clean and steam all my gold items and I get a gift box for them, I have to pay for these services. On the silver, they will tell me if its real silver or the "China silver" that has been going around. Not all China silver is fake, but they changed their precious metal laws when it was to be acceptable to label stuff as silver and only be plated. So I do go that extra mile before I list stuff, and if I do not know something on an item I state it. I like the place I go to that specializes in gold, and do not mind paying extra for their services, however; I do not get their appraisals or from anywhere on stuff I sell, it is not worth it. Only on my own stuff that I keep. Also all jewelers will tell you to get an exact carat weight the stones would have to be removed and weighed, otherwise it is just an estimate of the gauge they use, which does not tell the depth of the stone or the actual weight. Hope that answers your question...
free shippin in the united states out of country they pay exact shipping. Customs etc is different, and they can not track like we can here...so I do the free shipping in the U.S.
I just added two necklaces to the "Estate Find 3 Gorgeous Wide Herringbone Necklaces!!!" auction. You might want to check it out, they are two herringbone, marked 925, one side silver, the other side frosted with three hearts and I love you all the way around it so you can wear it two ways both identical and 18", you might want to check that other auction out :)
