Is this done with colored pencils or markers? If it's colored pencils you might want to try using a Blending pencil with it. It evens out the color and brings a lot of brightness and depth to your color. I've done lots of colored pencil sketches
and always use a Blending pencil with them. You can check out mine and see some of them.
