I agree, that's an important point. I wouldn't sell it if it didn't. I bought it brand new off the shelf and used it twice.

It would really depend on what your using it for. When you buy a $10 mic, thats what you get, is a $10 mic. I've been a stage performer for 36 years. I have a bog full of these. If you want it for a speaking mic, then it will surpass your needs. But as a performing mic, it wouldn't even come close. This type of mic is used for karaoke machines..
