Instead of a card adapter this is a USB stick adapter. It works the exact same way, you put your micro SD card into one end and the other end into your usb port. It comes with stick and a cap to go over the usb end. No SD card is included!!

As long as it is the same size as a micro it does not matter. I have used 2 and 4 gb with it.
