Description

The listing, STRIKING Lampwork Focal Pendant with Rainbow Hues! has ended.

This gorgeous borosilicate glass lampwork focal pendant bead. It measures 3/4" in diameter, 1.1" long and (top to bottom inclusive) is approximately 1/2" thick.

This beauty was handcrafted by expert glass artist Mark Hamilton of Solstice Glass and was properly kiln-annealed to ensure durability.

I just love all of the different rainbow hues in this one when the light hits it it is fabulous otherwise the colors are more subtble.

This lovely piece would make a really easy and beautiful necklace that you could wear with pretty much any colour.

Pretty sure this is the exact same pendant that I was trying to win just a little while ago from a different seller, only theirs had free shipping. I am fanned and watching, but before I bid, just wondering...is there something wrong with it? Chips, cracks...etc?

It may well be. It is 'Listian to Listian'. There is nothing wrong with it. No chips, cracks, etc . . . There were two I got at the same time and for some reason my mind had the measurements wrong. I thought one was larger and one was smaller. So bringing it back to share with someone who missed out seemed like a good idea. After all Listia has a ton of great stuff and someone I outbid might just still want it.

ThanX for askin ... (this is the other one: http://www.listia.com/auction/3208455-tuxedo-black-n-silvery-white-swirl-glass)

You might find some of the other active listings of interest.

The fabulous stuff listed is "free"Regarding shipping but "free shipping" isn't so rather than charge a 'flat rate' (which usually puts a couple $$$ in the listers pocket I charge exactly what it costs me).

I've received rigid, fragile items like this from sellers in flat white envelopes, damaged of course. Scares me to bid on some items like this. How much will shipping be to zip 47612?

To fleamarketmutt ~ careful packing can usually prevent those things from happening. Of course accidents can and do happen.

True, during the years I ebayed, only shipping problems I had was an antique typewriter and some little spun glass figurines. Even though I bubble wrapped each figurine separately, I didn't put enough packing around outside of packaging. Then I found Tru Value hardware stores have recycle bins for cardboard boxes. The little tiny boxes that screws and other small hardware come in, placed inside padded envelopes worked very well. Then the post office ships mail on commercial airlines, and baggage handlers have little respect for others property.
