My wife has the same problem, she has 3 bedrooms just filled with books and vampire stuff. I started piling all her boxes of stuff that are in my way all over the stairs going to her room so she has to start going through them or she can't get upstairs to get a new book to read, gave her a little motivation somewhat but she has a long way to go. We even have 8-tracks and of course LP's and no items to play them on.

I have 4 Turntables! My LP's and old audio equipment have their own bedroom. Still listen to cassettes also. I think I even have an 8-track player, but no tapes to play. I love the sound of vintage stuff. My Technic's SL 1800 TT is my baby :) It's really stood the test of time. Will you be listing any LP's?

No more records to sell, the ones I have left we are keeping for now. Bought a storage shed that had the inventory from a Milwaukee radio station that changed format and it had tons of records but got rid of them over a two year period. Was so sick of moving those heavy things around, but now they are making a comeback people been putting their stuff back on LP's the past couple years.

Thanks, most the CD's are the wife's made her do some house cleaning. She does have a pretty good taste in music and then I come across some pretty strange ones too when going through her stuff :)

Wish I could get lucky enough to get a storage shed full of records! I've bought new vinyl in the past 2 years. Buddy Guy, Hendrix, Beth Hart and Led Zep 02 concert. Some friends of mine also put out their music on vinyl. LOVE IT!!! I have several copies of some LP's that I may sell in the future. I've carried them around all my life. They're my childhood friends :) Peace...

Don't know if it was too lucky considering I had to move the crates of records multiple times between storage sheds and houses and when we cleaned out the original shed when we got to the back half there was a tear in the roof that leaked all over stuff so we had to deal with mold and damage and even barrels of water with rats floating in it. Kinda nasty considering it was a storage shed at a meat market. I am addicted to Podcast and many of them are putting out special episodes on vinyl only so have been considering getting a record player again, I love how technology advanced and now we are going back to the good old days and things that worked great.

I know how it is lugging all those crates! You really should get a Turntable. It's sounds so much better, but I'm sure you know that. The new direct drive ones like my old one are priced way too high! Really not fair at all. I'd look for a good used one. Just my opinion.
