This is a brand-new gorgeous dichroic glass stone set in a sterling silver ring with a beautiful setting. You can see the picture of the back of the ring where it is stamped .925 which shows you that it is sterling silver. The ring does not come in the box that you see it in, I just used that to hold the ring up to take the picture. It will come in a gift box though. The ring is a size 8
