The listing, Arab Watercolor Painting Old Vintage Antique Muslim Original Artwork has ended.

I recently acquired a large collection of very old books from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. Tucked between the pages of one of these old books was this original small watercolor painting entitled "Arab". The dimensions of the painting are 8.5" x 6.5". The upper right corner is creased. Otherwise it's in good shape. The back of the painting has the following words written in faded fountain pen ink: "Mrs. Carmichael gold mat IIIIdy 19924". I have no idea what these words mean. Original watercolor painting on watercolor paper. GUARANTEED authentic original vintage watercolor art work! This is NOT a recent creation. Very cool Middle Eastern Arab / Muslim subject matter. Yes she probably intended (or originally) had it mounted with a gold matting. No signature other than Mrs Carmichael? It is very nice!
