This is heavier yarn than some of my caps have been...great in air conditioned buildings or outside in winter. They fit so snugly that I still wear these in winter instead of a stocking cap. I began making these caps when I was chemo-bald. More comfortable and lighter than a wig, but they made me smile when I looked in the mirror--something I badly needed! I wear them now on bad hair days. This one is a light weight one, great for summer. Fits average size head. Points include shipping.

Questions & Comments

What is the size if I measured my head. I have had trouble ordering chemo caps, they are normally too tight and thats worse than the chemo. Can you measure one, or tell me how to measure my head? Thanks BTW your hats are lovely.

And of course I can't find a tape measure. All I can say is that my head is a bit larger than "average." And these have quite a bit of stretch to them.

Yes, you can wear these with hair. I have several friends who do. I do on bad hair days and in winter, these warmer ones fit more snugly than a stocking cap.
