Description

The listing, Medical flashlight??? has ended.

I have had this item for about five years, I think it is a medical flashlight???
On the side of it on stamped on the plastic black light cover is the number - 10x, the light works, the switch does not. It slides freely, but does not turn off the light. The flashlight takes 2 'C' batteries, it is in good condition aside from dust and a small dent on the metal housing. The dent is about 1/4 inch wide and maybe 1/16 inch deep. There is no rust. It is made in Japan by Light House.

mind me asking where you got this from, and any idea how old it is?

I have a relative whom passed away in 1999, he was my great uncle, he was 82 years old, and from what I understand; at one point in his life he wanted to be a dentist. I have a few other dentist tools, and I also had some dentist drill bits, but I think I threw them away before I knew what they were, the bits.

I have no idea how old this light is, it is however magnified 10 times, the bulb, and it has a medical cross cut out on one end of the light fixture, and a magnified lens on the other end of the fixture.

I also have an uncle that was in the Navy in the 70's and 80's, so this may be something he acquired from the Navy, I do not know, he lives in Claifornia, and I have never bothered to ask him.

So this light can be from the early 40's or late 70's. There is no manufacture date anywhere on the light. I thank you for your question and have a great day.

I have something similar (without the cross) that we use for a magnifying lens for jewelry or coins, etc.
