When my husband brought home a been bunch of small steel bits that are scrap from the laser cutter at his job. I wanted to start using them right away. I have used some of the larger pieces but I wanted to make something with some of the smallest bits so these earrings are what I came up with. I took a round steel piece and wrapped black wire around it so I can hang it from the earring finding. I left the little nicks in the wire because I liked how the copper color looked showing through a bit. They are a great way to add a bit of industrial chic to your everyday outfit or a way to show your love of mixed metal jewelry.
