I think you're right, in my first auction i ever posted, there was a pair that i think was identical or very similar to this pair- when i buy stuff, if i really like it, i'll buy the same style again...jewelry makers keep record of whats most popular & sells well, they keep pictures of everything they make so they can make it again.
Yes, pretty easily- take em to a jeweler & ask what he'd charge to take off the ear pieces & put on an "O" ring & a bail( a bail is the part the neckchain slips thru- there's so many styles, he could show you some & let you pick)...thrn you just get 2 chains & you'll have 2 turkish necklaces- you could sell one & keep the other .
Thanks , I was really hoping it could be changed . I've changed a lot if my earrings into necklaces . Just wanted to make sure with theses . Might do a ring with the other one .
Ok good- you can probably just get o rings,& bails on ebay & do it yourself- just use wire snips & cut thru the ring of the ear piece o ring rather than cutting the ring of the jeweled dangle( its nicely sautered & u may wanna keep it that way)- i know you said you've done it many times so im just saying this for others who may be reading this, as splitting an earring set into 2 necklaces can be a money earner) .i've got a few pairs i plan to do that with, because they dont match each other- stones in one are darker than in the other, so i'll make necklaces from them. And probably would get more for them that way, than one set of earrings...
Smart thinking . It's pretty easy . I've purchased many old jewelry pieces and turned them into necklaces . But never rings, thanks for the information on how to ☺️
Yes, I saw these before, too...asked a question about the backs being different...how odd that they are here again?! They are beautiful, though, which drew my eye back to them yet again!
Yes it is, i dont know why that is, but i got them anyway since they're so beautiful- they must get ones the same but differnt backs mixed up somehow? Or they do it on purpose for fancy??
