I have the Jackmani clematis,,, deep red violet. they really set off my perennial garden but did not know that about deadheading them . I will definetely try that next growing season. The Nellie Mosher is a beautiful hue too. Thank you for offering them. To save seed do you dry the pods on the vine or can you clip them while still moist and allow to air dry?

I bet that is beautiful.. you let them dry on the plant..not all will have seeds, you will be able to tell , the ones with seeds get kinda big bumpy and green..
