Heirloom Organic: Heirloom tomatoes are those tomatoes that are open-pollinated rather than hybrid or genetically modified varieties of tomatoes.

There is nothing more delightful than walking through the garden that you planted from seed! The surprises, the triumphs and sometimes failures of mix and matching plants leads you down the "garden path" of trial and error. Sometimes you find plants that thrive and multiply and other times the plants will not cooperate at all -- but when all is said and done, and you walk along your garden path, you enjoy your garden jewels -- the flowers that you planted with great care. Enjoy your garden flowers, your precious yard jewels!

Yummy! Yummy! Today you are considering Delicious Tomato -- the name says it all! Introduced by Burpee in 1964 this tomato has grown so large, that it holds the world's record at 7+ lbs! You'll love this tomato, I just can't say enough about it!

Tip: Tomatoes are best started indoors. This needs to be done 5 to 7 weeks before the last anticipated frost date. The seedlings can then be transplanted into your garden anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks after the last actual frost date. Call your County Extension Office to get frost information for your area.

Hi there, tomatoes are considered annuals, they die at first frost. I'm in zone 5 and they do fine here in the heat in humidity, I've also grown them in Calif. I believe that is zone 9. Again, they are only summertime plants,(annuals) you will need to re-plant/plant new plants every spring. Thanks for visiting my auctions! Happy Bidding! :)
