What is Alexite? I've never heard of it before. I guess there a lot of stones I don't know about, though.

Alexite is man-made with minerals added to enhance color, Alexandrite is a natural stone.

Are you sure it isn't Zandrite? That is the name of man made Alexandrite. both have color changing stones. It's easy to look up and it is an amazing stone. Even the manmade stone is somewhat expensive. I just wish it was a bigger size ring. It is really lovely!

Definitely Alexite but there are other synthetic types like Zandrite. Alexite has severalminerals added to enhance the color where Zandrite only has one mineral added...I didn't know this I had to look it up! :)

Gorgeous ring!!! Wish it was a half size bigger lol! This site is not like eBay. No money is exchanged unless you're asking for exact shipping amount. Everything is won with "Credits" on this site. And just wanted to share some helpful info…..A lot of Listian's don't know how to reply to comments --If you just add a comment on your listings people won't know you are replying to them :/ You can check your notifications icon and click on it, it will take you to the comment and then in the comment block select the blue highlighted "Reply" button OR on your "My Listia" page, scroll down the page and on the left hand side it says "Comments You Have Not Replied To" and do the same as above (clicking on the "Reply" button). Sometimes it doesn't register as a 'reply' if you're using the phone app though --I think it's just a glitch. WELCOME to Listia =_)

watching and hoping , a lot of people don't know but if you have a ring mandrel you can make a small ring bigger by slowly stretching on the mandrel.
