I know from experience that that brand tends to run a bit small. Do you think this would seem too large on someone who normally wears between a 5 and 7?

Probably would be a bit big. It does run smaller, but it'd probably loose on a 5 or 7. I'm about an 8 and it's a bit loose on me. Not terribly so, but it's still pretty loose.
