For those of you who have arithristis, karpoltona, tingling, numbness of fingers of hand or for those who just like to strength there grip this is the item you really would love to have. color is purple & yellow. you put the gripper in the palm of your hand and you wrap 4 fingers on yellow part with your thumb on the purple part and you squeeze as hard as you could. when you squeeze it will show the strength you used. (sorry i need to charge shipping on this but my budget is low from holiday) i will send cheapest as possible. if you went out to the store to purchase this would cost you alot more) good luck happy holiday..

i hope i understand this question if you are asking me the weight of the actual item it is not a pound but it sturdy. as far as squeezing the device as you can see from picture with numbers it goes up to 10. you do not set the device on a number you start it on (0) zero and squeeze it and it goes to a number according to how much you squeeze. believe me this is not easy especially if you have those problems because i had a brutal accident with my hand going threw a glass door missed my artery by 1/4inch, got stitched up, had surgery, have no feeling in my fingers or hand except for tingling, numbness, burning, etc everyday 24hrs none stop and i got one of these items now for me the dr. said it will help. good luck

i never went rock climbing but no you cannot use it for rock climbing. . you can use it to strength your hands so you can hold on to rocks better so you do not fall. merry christmas

I hope that it helps your condition. I am glad that you were able to recover from the injury.

To clarify my question, I was curious if this device read out the pounds as you squeeze, or if there is a rating which this max's out at. Such as 50 foot pounds or 20 foot pounds. You have pretty much answered my question though.

My hand strength is fine, I do have numbness at night, if I win this auction then I will find out if this device will aid me. Good luck with recovering and regaining your strength back

I have pain 24hrs. 7days a week. i am doing everything i can with my left hand to get it back. people in life do not realize sometimes how lucky they are to have all there body parts working. good luck to you to. i wish you and your family a happy and healthy new year.

I agree. There are these gloves you can purchase through the internet. They are designed for Raynauds disease, that may be improper spelling of raynauds, and also artheritis. They retail at $30.00 on average. They are called FIR gloves.

If you go to google and type in FIR gloves, several sites will show up. I was suspicious of them at first, I purchased a pair and they worked good at night. You can wear them at night while you sleep and also during the day. What they do is reflect the heat that your hand radiates; back into your hand and thus help open up the capillaries in your hand which helps warm them and take the tingling sensation away. If you have an extra $30.00 it is worth the investment.
