How do I know if it fits my laptop

Most laptops use the 2.5" drive size. You can Google search your laptop make and model number for a replacement hard drive to see it it uses SATA or EIDE. This is a SATA drive. Hope that helps.

I have the HP pavilion g7 do u know if this hard drive would fit it.?? Do u know about laptops

According to the spec sheets from the HP website this hard drive will work in your laptop. There are several different models of the G7 but they all appear to use SATA drives.

Oh man if this wasn't 200k more than what I had (lol!) need to get a new one... Broke 2 within 6 months lol one was 750gb might just be the computer but I didn't see any problems digitally or physically.. :p
