This is a 1964 Topps Card for Hall of Fame pitcher HOYT WILHELM of the Chicago White Sox.
Card should grade in excellent condition or better.

Wilhelm never stayed anywhere for long, playing for 9 teams in his 21 year career. He spent 6 years with the White Sox, the most he spent with any team, and enjoyed his biggest success with the Southsiders.
Over his career, Wilhelm was runner up for the 1952 Rookie of the Year Award, but spent most of his career under the radar as he started only 52 games while making over 1000 relief appearances. He twice led the league in ERA, although he'd have won plenty more if he'd had enough innings to qualify. For his career, he had a miniscule 2.52 ERA, collected 143 wins, and compiled a then-record 228 saves. An 8-time All Star, Wilhelm won a World Series ring with the 1954 New York Giants, the last championship the Giants won until 2010, in San Francisco.
Wilhelm was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985.
