Yes i enjoy all if my plants but this one i have had for about six years and i started it from a small two or three leaf piece from my daughter hers was beautiful however she lot it in a divorce and has tried to restart her several plants and every time they die. I think her new husband kills them myself because i always have them very heathy and rooted. These are easy to root.

I had never grown these until just last year when a friend send me a small cutting. It is called a "Silver Speckled" Hoya. It has stolen my heart!!! I just can't wait for my first blooms!
Your Hoya would make a lovely addition . Is it correct that Hoya are succulent plants and like the same care?

They say low light but I take mine outside every year and hang it in a tree when it get low to medium light so it will grow my plant is only three years old

While you can root a hoya leaf, however you also need part of the stem attached to the leaf for it to have new growth.

I received a Carnosa Exotica leaf cutting as an experiment. The leaf rooted great but that is all it will have are roots :(

My plant started from three leaves three years ago. But in the summer I hang mine under a shade tree and it always doubles in size that year plus I always give a clipping or two away.

i looked the wax hoya up and I am not finding any that have those kind of leaves. what should I be looking for as far as name?

Love it Joy---and you are right...You can get them on the Internet and pay a fortune. BUT, try to find them in the stores and nurseries so you can see what you are BUYING---they are HARD to find---and it's rare when you can find one!!!! And even MORE RARE to find more than one variety in one location. GREAT AUCTION---beautiful plants!!! :o)
