Description

The listing, Nifty Knitting Needles has ended.

I made these knitting needles. I used bamboo and wooden beads to keep the yarn from slipping off the ends. Happy Bidding!

Roughly 9 in long and 1 cm in diameter. I love to knit but have never used patterns, I guess I just knit and come up with my own patterns and I remember how to do them and what needles I used to make the item....lol...

For everybody: 1 cm diameter is about a size US 15. So that is fairly thick! You would either knit chunky/bulky yarn with it, or something in thin yarn that you want a lacy look for, but not the bother of knitting lace. (Kid mohair looks great on thick needles. Gives you a frothy look without much effort! :)
I'm a lace knitter, so I usually knit with way smaller needles LOL These will be for my daughter.

These are not thick needles. I'm sorry I measured wrong.....lol....1/2 cm is the diameter....I was trying to use my husbands ruler which has all kinds of different measurements....oh my gosh....how silly! LOL.....

I just looked closer at the picture and I have a question: Is it just the picture, or is there something sticking out under the beads? I am not sure if I am seeing it right, I do need glasses, so I thought I better ask...

LOL it happens... 1/2 cm would be a size US8 then, or a British size 6, or 5mm metric... :) QUITE a difference LOL
