Baby slings are used around the world and have been for centuries. If used properly there are wonderful. My slings oly have 1 seam in the bottom to make sure the material is strong and sturdy. They are modeled off a very popular brand. Yes, slings can be dangerous if used improperly or if you put the sling material over the babies face. (slings were recalled because the material was over the babies face and the baby suffocated) My slings do not have elastic around the edges to ensure that you can fold the fabric away from the baby. I have a son and I am a full time nanny. I would not sell a product I thought would kill your children.

Could you still use a sling for an 8 month oild? My son is 8 months ill find out how much he weighs today. How much do you sell them for?

Yes, you can use a sling for an 8 month old. I have a 2 yea old and he is only 30 lbs. He is tall and skinny. He still fits my sling. I usually sell ones with out the fleece lining for $20 and the ones with the lining like this one for $25.
