There are not, the only thing on the inside of the ring is a pincher to help the ring stay on the finger, and it is built into the ring. Quite nice if you want to put it on a smaller finger.

I have never worn it, there are no scratches except for what the jewlery box gave and the jewlery box it padded :)

yes, and it can also fit a size 8 because of the pinchers inside.
