Description

The listing, #1 Black Pineapple Tomato Bicolor Green & Red 1st Tomato Harvest of this year - Homegrown - 20 seeds has ended.

Black Pineapple, is a bicolor tomato, a natural cross, found as an off type, among a Pineapple tomato planting.

It's form, & size vary a bit, from an almost round 8 oz tomato, to a pound, & a quarter (20 oz) beefsteak type tomato.

It's taste, is that of a sweet green tomato, & a traditional red tomato.

It is fabulous for slicing for sandwiches.

This year, my largest black pineapple, weighed exactly 1.25 lbs, & one slice of tomato covered virtually all of a slice of bread.

It would also be great diced, for a colorful salsa.

I'm putting the starting bid, as 49,667 credits, because I start from seed, pot up, transplant, tend water, harvest, dice, deseed, cure the seeds, count them out, & package them all by myself.

It is a time consuming activity.

[Current rate: 14,900 Credits = US$1 x 3=44,700] is equal in value to $2.50, plus 50 cents postage & 10% Listia "Transaction Fees". 49,667 - 10% Transaction Fee credits (4,966) = 44,701 the final $3.00 value, that I would like.

I put a GIN of 60,000 if you must have them immediately.

I'm also putting a fair value on them, because I gave away thousands of seeds on here last year, & this year.

I have yet to see any of the varieties I listed on here last year, being sold by someone else, meaning that they saved seeds, & are making some available to others.

This tells me, that few, if any, of the people that won my seeds, are saving any seeds, & listing any extras.

If no 1 saved or shared any seed, varieties would die out. Plants make more seed, than 1 person would ever need.

The more seed savers, & sharers of heirloom / open pollinated seeds, the more fresh, local produce, & food security in the world.

THIS MAY SEEM LIKE A LOT OF CREDITS TO PAY, BUT IF U SAVE SEED, U'LL NEVER BUY THEM AGAIN,
& U CAN LIST XTRA SEED ON HERE, TO GET SOME CREDITS BACK.

These are grown veganically.

Vegan = no animal products, including commercial manures

Organic (not certified) = no chemicals of any kind.
