The Bark Stop Collar works by simply detecting your dog's bark and emitting an ultrasonic noise inaudible to humans. Your dog will not like this noise and will begin to associate the noise with his barking. He will realise that to stop the unpleasant sound, he must stop the barking. Bought for our dog but she is only 8 pounds and is to small to use it

i dont think so... it stops dogs from barking... i dont see how it would work on a cat

yes... my dog is 4 yrs old and only weighs 8 pounds, it fits on their throat and well she is too small in the area for this to fit right

not abusive... sends no shocks. uses ultrasonic sound waves , just like some dog whistles. .

I won something like this on here awhile back...buy mine is a battery operated box you can clip on the crate or near the dog. I have a 5lb pomeranian that barks like crazy every time someone knocks on the door or if she hears the slightest of weird sounds. I clipped this on her crate and turned it on. It WORKS well it hasnt stopped her yet from barking completely because she never did it continuously anyways..just randomly. But..I can say she definitely hears it go off because she does circles in her cage and stares at the box when she makes it go off. I think this sort of think would work best for a dog that barks nonstop or close to it. You would then be able to really see a huge difference in their barking. Just thought I would share my story because I was skeptical when I first got mine. I hope this helps everyone! Happy New Years!

I won one something like this on here awhile back. It was a box that you can clip onto the crate or near the dog. I have a 5lb pomeranian that barks like crazy when someone knocks on the door. I can actually say these things WORK..but they would work better for a dog that barks continuously rather than a dog that only barks once in awhile. She does circles and stares at the box when she makes it go off. It stops her from barking because it takes her attention away from it. But if there was a second knock she would repeat the behavior. So I say this would be great for a dog that barks alot..you would see a huge difference in their barking. Just thought I would share my story because I was skeptical when I first got mine. Happy New Year's everyone! :)
