The listing, Seeds: Cerinthe major has ended.
This listing is for ~ 30 seeds.
Cerinthe major 'purpurescens' is a weird and wonderful plant with somewhat unfortunate common names: honeywort and blue shrimp plant. Every part of the plant is interesting: the leaves are a silky green with silver/white spots (I like plants with spots!) and the flowering tips do indeed curl around as they continue to bloom, creating shrimp-like blue/purple foliage.
Everything I've read says they like full sun, but mine have been happiest in part-sun. They do have more color in full sun. Honeywort can be pruned back to encourage branching and more blooms, and they make fantastic potted plants. They are an evergreen perennial in mild growing zones, but will come back in the spring after harsher winters. They also reseed fairly easily.
