I was looking at these and had some previously that didn't make it, and was wondering if these are the hens and chicks that can grow in just about anything once they are a bit more mature -- like in rocks and wood pieces? If I had something like that again then they probably would make it!!! I would be more careful -- the ones I had had a bunch of babies and I transplanted all of them and over-watered them and they all died!! I was so sad!

If these are the succulent type plants let me know and I'll be bidding -- I could use more plants in my house -- they are good for you!

No sweetheart, they are Poppies. The seed head produces the large head and the little tiny chicks around the head, so they are called Hens and Chicks Poppies. Florists dry them and use them in bouquets after the are dried.
