The listing, xbox 360 usb wifi adapter has ended.

My xbox 360 died, so this was of no use to me. For some reason my *OLD xbox only worked with this when it was plugged into front USB ports... unsure why. Just a heads-up

I couldn't really say actually. My xbox 360 crapped out before I ever got a game to play online, so I never signed up for xbox Live... I just know it lit up and showed my home network... but only when I plugged it into the front USB port. I think my system was long overdue for an update because it didn't seem to work on the back ports... and then KAPUT! my system died before I could try it. Sorry I couldn't give more detail.

Correct. If your xbox 360 doesn't have wifi built in, as is the case with older models - then this would let you connect via wifi.

When my 360 was working, I had to plug it into the front USB ports to get it to work - but that may have been because my system was SUPER old and needed a system update or something... which I never got to do because it got the RROD.
