Catherine Deneuve launched her own fragrance, named “Deneuve” in 1986. She herself chose the design, the packaging, the advert and the notes of the composition. It won the FiFi award in 1987. Mark Behnke of Colognoisseur calls it "heavenly...arguably one of the greatest floral chypres ever made." Deneuve has 10-12 hour longevity and average sillage (French for projection, how far people can smell you and also at the same time how strong you smell).
