Questions & Comments
I'd like to know what kind of material this is made from. It looks like velour or maybe fleece. Thanks for addressing my query and a warm welcome to the Listia Community. Believe me, it gets better than this. Once you have some experience points, members will be happy to bid. It's just been that there have been some scam artists who flew in under the radar, so to speak, and did not fulfill their obligations. It left folks a little skiddish about bidding on newbie auctions, but, please, stick around. Thank you for offering up this gorgeous item for the community to consider. I wish you the best on all your auctions, whether you are bidder or lister.
I believe it is fleece. I'm not sure what you mean by experience points. I've been on listia for a little while and have 100 feedbacks that are all positive.
Well, your experience points, or "XP" are on your profile page. In the center of the page, at the top, beneath where your handle is listed. There are three yellow boxes in a row. The first one from the left is your XP. Now, if you were to ask me what purpose they serve (other than a validation of what you have contributed to the Community through comments, auctions, etc., I could not tell you. I don't believe there is any kind of "bonus" or competiton among Listians, as far as XP goes. They can't be converted into credit, or cashed in like airline miles. If there is a point to "keeping score, I don't have a clue. I also don't see the purpose in "friending" or "fanning", except for some personal sense of status. Sure, it makes it a little easier to keep track of other's auctions and to check in with folks with whom you have done business, but that can be done anyway.... without benefit of "fanning". But, that's just me. I have a different definition of "fans" and "friends" as many others do.
