Probably hinged, but I don't like the spot. As far as I can determine, it does not affect the front of the stamp. I know about as much about stamps as I do sports trading cards. Thank goodness I do not get a big lot of stamps, and most of what was in the group are four together, or six, I don't even remember and I may not even list them. Especially as I have several thousand sports cards to get rid of that are in my way!!!! Thanks for the info; appreciate it. I did start a stamp collection over 60 years ago; I don't even remember what happened with it. Probably through it away in "grown up" years??????
