It measures 23" if I remember correctly, but I will measure again to be sure. I measured all the way around because sometimes there is more material in the front than the back, and I wanted to give the entire measurement. This is included in the description, if I am not mistaken.

Lisan959, The measurement I had in the listing is the correct one. My memory, however, not so good. The total measurement around the garment is 44". It is 22" from side seam to side seam when laying on a flat surface. Please feel free to make any further inquiries.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to take the measurements. It's how I determine if a top will fit or not. Unfortunately I need 25 inches, it's too bad because it's such a pretty top. Hopefully some day in the not so distant future I'll have this diabetes under control and I can lose weight again!! Take care!
