Description

The listing, "Lucky Rock" Free shipping possible! has ended.

Will ship for free if the auction goes over 1000 credits!

This is a fossil of some sort that is sometimes found in the gravel in the West Tennessee area. They come in different diameters and lengths but I have never seen two that are alike. And locally they are called "lucky rocks" and supposed to bring luck according to local folk tales. Will ship with tracking number. (quarter shown for size reference only, and is not included in the auction)

They are actually fossils of crinoids, primative marine creatures similar to tube worms.

I've always wondered what they were. I found a rock with a seashell impression on it the other day too. Not really what you would expect in Tennessee. The ocean is quite a distance from here.
