These are not plastic and light weight, the little box is they are in has a little weight to it. They are not those plastic little rings. I have never opened the box but they look more like poly-resin Zebra buttons and the hooks are metal. If the buttons are not poly-resin then they are thick, solid, heavy constructed plastic. In the last picture you can see that I can slide my fingers through a space because of the way the box is made, and I can feel them, they feel like poly-resin to me. They have that cute hand painted look to them giving them a unique appearance. I love them, but I just don't need them, I have some already and they are similar.
I think whoever wins these is going to really love them
