The listing, Two 80 gig Toshiba hard drives has ended.

This auction is for (2) Toshiba 80 gig hard drives that I was given from a friend. I am not a computer guy and do not know any thing about these. All the information I have on these can be found in the pictures. Anything more than that I cannot help you. I can help you by saying there is free shipping and good luck.

My "friend" is in fact my grandfather. I don't understand parentheses. He got them from old railroad computers when they upgraded their systems on locomotives. " Thank you"

these are IDE hard drives (aka ones from a old laptop) the new ones dont have the pins at the end they have a circuit board lookin thing and are called SATA. and i can tell you now you prolly wont get 15000 for a GIN on ide hard drives, these are prolly about 10 years old prolly. but that doesnt mean they are worthless, you may get 2000-5000 from them still together, i know once i have the creds (after a couple auctions i am bidding on are done) i plan on bidding but thats because i have a older hard drive they will fit lol. that being said a fairly good auction,

They were taken out of working Toshiba laptops when the railroad upgraded to tough books. At the time, I had a Toshiba satellite. My grandfather gave these to me. However, since then, I've gotten the dreaded blue screen on my pc and don't know what to do with it or these hard drives.

nothing wrong with IDE you can even buy an adapter for less than 7 dollars to convert it to sata if you really want my new power supply has 8 sata and 8 ide connectors MOOOHAHAHAHA christmas was good to me lol
