My first electronics auction :) I have a 2nd generation Ipod Touch, model #A1288, color: black. It is in working condition and I have been using it up until this morning, when I switched to the new Ipod I got for Christmas. The screen is cracked up pretty good, as you will see by the photos.... pic 1: restored to factory settings, so you will need to hook it up to your Itunes account on a computer to get it working; I set it so that it is exactly how it was out of the box originally. Also included is the original USB cord. One edge of that cord has inner wires exposed, so you may want to buy a new one also. Pic 2: shows the back, which currently has a clear cover on it. BUT before I put that cover on I did scratch the silver back there. Also pictured (and included in auction) is a sealed, not opened replacement (repair) LCD screen. I am pretty sure the kit has all the tools to repair the cracked screen. I got the repair kit for Christmas, as well, but the envelope is well-sealed so I didn't want to open it. Pic 3: closer look at the cracks. A piece fell out of the bottom right corner so you can see I taped it back in. Tape is currently covering the hole for earphones (earphones NOT included, btw, since I didn't think anyone would want used ones) but I'm sure it can easily be removed. Tape hasn't been on there long. Obviously it will be removed when you replace the screen anyway. Please ask questions before bidding because all items in this auction will be sent AS-IS. Hold on, so you place a bid, end up being the high bidder, then ask the seller to lower the days? Are you serious? Even if listia was shady as that and worked like that, would you do that in your auctions if I asked you Gabriel70? That has to be one of the shadiest things ive ever seen, lol. But if thats the only way you can win then do what you gotta do. I might overbid ya just on principal now.

Would you be able to replace the LCD screen before sending it if I were to win? I have no clue how to do it and wouldn't want to risk messing it up.

i am afraid to replace it also, which is why i am including it in the auction separate. it would not be fair to the winner if i tried to replace the screen and failed :(

it is an lcd screen. as i understand it, the digitizer still works b/c if it was broken the ipod wouldn't work (but it does)... hope that makes sense!

That is a gap in the clear case I have on it... it's an opening to allow the volume buttons to be used. The clear protective case was bought separate and can easily be removed :)
