A little history about these beads!!!!
These seed beads came from my Grandma. She got them from her mother when she was 16 years old.
My Grandmother had a beautiful wedding dress made and she hand stitched these beads onto the veil of her wedding dress...
It was the most beautiful dress I have ever seen.. with all the detail & time she put into it..
It took her 4 months, working in between her everyday chores & school to finish the veil...
These beads came straight from the factory in the Czech Republic, where my great grandma worked.
When my grandma married my grandpa, he was in the service and was stationed in Germany where they met. After returning to the states, my grandpa filed the documents to have my grandma & great grandma come to the US. And the rest is history...
Anyways... she had her dress stored in a boot locker in her attic and it sat there for 78 years.
Her dress literally fell apart in the footlocker from dry rot.
I carefully removed and sorted all the beads that remained on the dress
Maybe 1/3 of the beads were saved...
So now I am bringing them to you!!!
