I'm not all that tech saavy. I didn't know what it was until my son showed me the usb on the other end! I thought it was just to carry around an extra micro card. DUH, me !

I didn't know what it was for sure either. Had to ask someone else also. I feel like such a "geezer" any more. Can't even keep up with the technology (or even the lingo)

lol...really, that's so useful in (God forbid) an accident!
"Officer, Officer! I took pics of the accident from the beginning and I have a tablet so you'll see every detail because I have this cute little micro sd card reader and it'll plug right into my tablet!" LOL
Then the officer will have to confiscate the micro sd card, the card reader and my tablet as evidence! LOL
